A WAKE UP CALL TO ALL CHRISTIANS

Image
The killings in Southern Kaduna is something to lament over. It calls for a rethink and an evaluation.  In. a country where there is no war, yet the number of deaths that has been recorded since the year began is alarming.  The big question one should ask himself is "are these terrorists richer or stronger than the entirety of the military government?". However, these persons live in a community;  they have siblings and family members.  Personally,  I sense a hidden agenda somewhere. I am not a person who is drawn to the mass media but this recent scenario has drawn my attention seriously. The untold killings in the north has never been addressed pragmatically by the governors concerned.  This is more unlike a tribal or a religious war. Recently,  a Pastor by the name Dr Paul Enenche gave an insightful message on this current phenomenon. He lamented that though Nigerians constitute best brains in different nations of the world, in that, one out of ev...

A clear Distinction Between Title And Worth

Image
Our society today is so obsessed with titles, especially the third world nations. To some, it is an accurate measure  of their true worth. Hence, there is the drive to obtain more certification in other to amass titles of all sorts.  More so, there are persons that will never answer you because you never addressed them with their appropriate titles. However, Bishop David Oyedepo made a clear difference between the two. And I think the difference is good to know and best if it is applied.  While browsing through the internet, I came across one of Bishop David Oyedepo's sermons,  where he differentiated these two concepts.  Video link Bishop David Oyedepo  is the president of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel. He is one of those preachers whose name is worth associating with. He started that the values that a man generates is what enhances his worth, title notwithstanding.  In other words, it is not y...

These are the ones who reinforce negative societal behaviors and values. This is a travesty of an unfolding tragedy for us. Why have I spent the time talking on fatherless homes and the impact that it has on our children? Well, the truth of the matter, is that an irresponsible boy tends to become an irresponsible man, and it is therefore a vicious cycle.  If you plant cocoyam, you cannot harvest plantain. A Redefinition To The Concept of Christianity by Dr Paul Enenche

Image
Pastor  Enenche is the founder of the Dynamis International Gospel Church with her headquarter in Abuja. Recently, the clergy gave a redefinition to the concept of Christianity. In his two minutes video, he asked salient questions that we must profer answers to if our journey as Christians will be a fruitful one. To save the stress of downloading the video, I did the transcription of it below : "What is the Essence Of Christianity? What is Christianity all about? What is the use of going to church? What is the product of going to church? There are many in church today, for many reasons. There are many today in church, merely for religious activity. That is an activity- I belong to a church, my church, my pastor, just normal activity. There are those in church today for maybe as a part of social activity as well.  And there are those in church, in search of miracle, the problems of life being too much. So let me go and let God help me. So you will see ver...

The Reverend Sister Who left the Convent; Lessons to learn

Image
The Catholic Reverend sister in the above picture was reported to have left the convent in a bid to marry the love of her life. The pictures below shows her traditional marriage. By deduction, the husband is a police officer as you can see below. Truthfully speaking, her decision to leave the convent is quite commendable. In the sense that, it is better to be married than burn in lust. Being a celibate (that is one who deliberately decides not to marry) or a eununch is a call by God. When one is called to be a Kingdom Eunuch, the grace to stay as such will be provided. One should never venture into sacred or Divine office without the grace to stand there. It is for this singular reason that we have fake ministers and ministries everywhere. Furthermore, sincerity is the key to going far in life. This Reverend sister was very sincere with herself. She didn't allow others with the call to deceived her. She knew that though we are doing ...
